Friday 2nd - Monday 5th May Welcome!The Hexham Book Festival, now in its third successful year, wants you to join us in a weekend celebration of all that's exciting and new in the world of books. We've got award-winning writers of children's books and contemporary fiction, a lively poetry slam and a graphic novel event, and a talk by a controversial chef and two nostalgic footballers.
So join us for a lively and stimulating mix of discussions, readings, argument and entertainment and with authors like Germaine Greer and TV chef John Burton-Race expect some fireworks for the bank holiday!
